Derbyshire Scout Bellringing Badges

Great news! Derbyshire Scout Bellringing Badges were launched in January 2026.

They are available through the new Derbyshire Bellringing Scouts Active Service Unit and the 23 Derbyshire towers participating in the scheme.

The badges are flexible to cover all Scout sections and abilities.

The badges are:

Scouts attend a bellringing experience session, learn how bells are rung, and do ringing-related activities and some finding out.

For all Scout sections: Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network.

Staged badges as Scouts become bellringers and progress their ringing skills.

For young people from the following Scout sections: Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network.
