  • Mid Week Ringing - 2 Towers & Optional Pub Lunch

    Ripley (10:00 AM) followed by Heanor (11:30)

    All welcome whether you can ring just rounds or eight-spliced. For those who can, please be prepared to ring Cloister, Bastow and/or Stedman Triples. Please also bring a £1 donation to each tower's funds. Maybe followed by a pub lunch?

  • October Meeting and 8-Bell Contest

    5th October 2024 @ 2:15 pm - 8:30 pm

    OCTOBER MEETING AND 8 BELL CONTEST
    SATURDAY 5TH OCTOBER 2024
    ALFRETON

    The Draw for the 8 bell Inter District Contest will be held at Alfreton, at 2.15 pm.  Contest ringing will begin at 2.30 pm.

    During the afternoon there is general ringing at
    PENTRICH 2.30 – 3.30 PM
    SWANWICK 3.30 – 4.30 PM

    After the contest there will be general ringing at Alfreton until 4.55 pm.

    Tea at 5 pm
    Meeting with results will start no sooner than 5.30 pm.
    Evening Ringing at Alfreton from about 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm.

    Numbers for tea by Wednesday 2nd October to tea@derbyda.org.uk

    NB There is no parking at Alfreton church.  The nearest car parks are at the Leisure Centre nearby DE55 7BD but you need to collect a ticket from Reception or Rogers Lane pay and display car park DE55 7FF (about a 10 minutes walk away).
